International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI) forms projects to address technology and infrastructure gaps not currently being addressed by other industry efforts. These include the development of more environmentally conscious electronics. This site lists some of iNEMI's current projects, including Pb-free wave soldiering, tin whisker modeling, halogen-free initiatives, and lead-free assembly.
